Youth and Children’s World Cup in Poreč, Croatia
In the days from 30.6. – 3.7. 2022, two international competitions took place in Poreč, Croatia – WKF U21 CUP and 14th WKF YOUTH LEAGUE.
Our club was represented at the WKF U12 & U21 CUP by Sára Krivdová and Maroš Janovčík.
The results of our competitors:
Sára Krivdová – kumite U21 -68kg, 17 competitors
1st round free, 2nd round – 2:2 win against an Englishwoman, 3rd round – 3:0 win against a Swede, 4th round – 10:2 win against a Belgian woman, Final – 4:2 loss against a Slovenian woman – overall 2nd. the place
Maroš Janovčík – kumite U21, -75kg, 39 competitors,
1st round – lost 3:2 against Slovenia
Vojto Antoš, Dominik Antoš, Dominik Kešeľak, Marek Krivda represented our club at the 14th WKF YOUTH LEAGUE competition.
The results of our competitors:
Vojto Antoš – kumite juniors +76kg, 52 competitors, 1st round free, 2nd round lost to a Slovenian
Dominik Antoš – kumite u14 -55kg – 43 competitors, He lost the 2nd round against the Slovak, lost 5:1 in the rematch against the Ukrainian – overall 5th place
Dominik Kešeľak – kumite juniors -76kg – 60 competitors, 1st round – 2:0 against a competitor from Iceland, 2nd round – 5:1 against an Italian, 3rd round – 1:3 against an Italian
Marek Krivda – cadets -52kg, 81 competitors, 1st round – free, 2nd round – lost to a German 1:6
